Eduardo Ritter is a Brazilian writer, journalist, poet and professor at Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL) in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

He has a PhD in Social Communication at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) and was a Visiting Scholar at NYU’s Literary Reportage. He has two published books: Jornalismo Gonzo (2018) and The Journalistic Tribe of Erico Verissimo (2016).
